Anyone with an American Express Card should regularly check their account for new offers. One offer added to my account today is a no brainer. Spend at minimum of $90 on your cable or satellite and receive 500 points. I don’t know of any cable/satellite bill that isn’t at least $90. The great thing is that you can use this offer up to 4X before it expires in July. That’s an easy 2000 points.
As with all Amex offers, make sure to click to redeem the offer before using your card.
Where do you check your account? I logged into my account at americanexpress.com. I see no such offer under Rewards.
Once you log into your Amex account scroll down on the homepage to ‘Amex Offers and Benefits.’ The offers will be listed there. Please note that Amex offers may be ‘targeted.’ Cardholders receive both general offers (for everyone) and targeted. The targeted offers are based upon certain factors, such as your individual spending patterns and geographic location. You should notice offers for some retailers, such as local restaurants, that are available in your specific area. The take away is to get into the habit of checking these Amex offers regularly..at least once per week.
