Qatar Airways Launches Flights Out of Seattle

Qatar Airways announced they will begin flying out of Seattle starting January 29, 2021. This new service will offer four weekly flights for now.

The flight from Seattle to Doha is approximately 7,400 miles and takes just over 14 hours no matter which direction you are traveling. That’s a long flight–even longer in economy (at least it feels that way). Fortunately, the Seattle itinerary will include Qatar’s newest planes fitted with their award-winning Qsuites.

Premium cabins will be expensive for sure. Keep in mind that Qatar is a member of Oneworld so you can use American Airlines miles, British Airways or Iberia Avios, as an option to book business class.

This announcement is good news. Customers always benefit from more choices. It will add some convenience to those who live on the west coast and add competition for airlines flying in/out of Seattle.
