Tampa Gets Its First JW Marriott Luxury Hotel

JW Marriott announced that its 100th property, JW Marriott Tampa Water Street is now open, with a formal grand opening celebration expected in April 2021.

Marriott describes the new hotel as, ‘blending modern luxury with the sophisticated energy of Tampa’s Water Street neighborhood, the expansive 519-room property welcomes guests with a moment of architectural awe: a four-story atrium lobby lounge featuring hanging art and a floating conference room dubbed “Skybox,” providing guests with the perfect location to be in the moment and take in the energy of the neighborhood’. 

JW Marriott is one of the luxury hotel brands in Marriott’s portfolio. The first JW Marriott hotel opened in 1984 in Washington DC. I personally enjoy the Marriott brands and it’s great that they keep expanding. Congratulations Tampa.
